RBI has stopped the printing of Rs. 2000 notes around 5 months before. It has been clear from sources that now RBI is no more interested in printing Rs. 2000 notes. It is looking like PM Modi has become determined towards demonetization again. Because Bank is interested in stopping the circulation of Rs. 2000 notes. There was a news that Rs. 500 notes may also will be withdrawn by the government from the market before November 8, 2017.
But here comes a good news for a middleman, RBI is planning to circulate Rs. 200 notes soon. Already the printing of Rs. 200 has been started. And this will be a good news for a person who wants to withdraw a small amount of money.
It has been estimated, that around 3.7 billion notes of Rs. 2000 and their cost will be estimated around Rs. 7.4 trillion. At the time these Rs. 2000 notes were circulated in the market that time the old notes were vanished by the Govt. on the decision of PM Modi.
As if you have remembered one of the biggest decision/move taken by PM Modi when he has called all the money back from the market and asked all the people to deposit their money in Banks in order to seize black money. That has become historical decision and one historical decision is that RBI has stopped printing Rs. 2000 notes now.
It has been out from one reliable source that the circulation of newly printed notes of Rs. 200 will be from next month, as after RBI has stopped the printing of Rs. 2000 notes, it has started printing of Rs. 200 notes .
It has been known that most of the printing of Rs. 200 notes have been done so far. It can be said that this decision has both negative and positive effects. As in the form of Rs. 2000 notes, people feel it’s easy to do transactions. But for a low-income person/ students who don’t earn even Rs. 2000 will feel Rs. 200 note is better as now if they had less amount in their banks and they can easily withdraw it from ATM.
